It can't be summer already! Can it?

Our recent trips to the lake and the temperature outside indicate that it's summer. School is out, so there's another indication. The reason it's so hard for me to believe, that it is in fact summer, is that this also means that our baby is practically an entire YEAR old. Now, THAT is truly what I'm having a hard time getting my head around. Have we really had him in our lives that long? 

"Mr. Bambino" or "Beans" for short loves to point at things these days. I know, who needs a nickname for their nickname? This boy does! He was cracking us up on a recent trip to the lake. Check this boy out...He was very passionately explaining something of optimal importance. Notice that he's driving the point home with that adorable little pointing finger. This outing was the one and only time that he's agreed to wear his sunglasses for more than a millisecond. The event needed to be documented. This, my friends, is the captain in ACTION.

What a cool dude.

Whenever he needs to honk the horn he grabs one of our fingers, in that sweet chubby hand, and uses the said finger to push the horn button.
